You are using more than QuickBooks Desktop Support files which are already damaged and results in occurrence of this error, some example of these files are: Transaction log (TLG) file, Network descriptor (ND) file and Data source name (DSN) file etc.
Solutions to fix the error:
Solution 1: Latest version of QuickBooks desktop.
You should have the QuickBooks desktop software in your system.
Now you should have the upgraded and latest version of QuickBooks desktop and its will fix the error.
Solution 2: If you use any encryption software so disable it.
We are not recommending you to encryption by third party.
But if you are encrypted the company file you should contact to the encryption software vendor’s for have information how to disable it.
Solution 3: Change the name of your supporting files of QuickBooks.
Open that folder in which you have saved the file.
Find the files which has the same name as in your QuickBooks software but with the same extensions i.e: .tlg, .nd and/or .dsn.
Change the name of all the files and add the word .OLD to each file.
